Description

The ‘Watermelon’ is one of the series of paintings created after the liberation of Kherson city in Ukraine late last year. Kherson region soil and climate are particularly good for growing watermelons. Consequently the symbol of the city is watermelon. Kherson’s location on the banks of river Dnipro makes it easier to use barges to send watermelons to other parts of Ukraine.
